Monroe Public Schools
The School District of Monroe is located in the rolling hills of southern Wisconsin and is in close proximity to Madison, Janesville and Beloit. Monroe is known for it's historic downtown square, friendly people and festivals and events that celebrate the culture and arts of the area.
The School District of Monroe serves approximately 2,400 students in grades 4K-12. The District is home to three elementary schools, one middle school and one high school. Monroe schools are known for exceptional academic services, award winning programs and championship athletics. The School District of Monroe earned an "Exceeds Expectations" grade on the most recent Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction report card.

Streets & Sanitation (Garbage/Recycling/Yard Waste)
Garbage/Recycling
The City of Monroe contracts Pellitteri Waste Systems for curbside trash and recycling.
For a new cart (exchanges, repairs, etc.), please contact Pellitteri at 800-400-4285 or through their website by clicking here.
The City of Monroe charges for curbside garbage/recycling collection on the quarterly utility bill. The cost depends on the size of your garbage cart.

Yard Waste
