Special Events at the Pool

Animal Strike at the Pool
Tuesday, June 22rd, 1:00 - 4:00pm

What’s a pool manager to do when the animals refuse to cooperate? Free pony rides and a small petting zoo. Small fee for animal games & daily admission to the pool still applies. We will have games spread out on the outside lawn to keep social distancing for guests and our volunteers.

Come to the pool & celebrate the upcoming Space Jam 2 movie! Get ready to play sports games. Who will win the Looney Toons or the Monsters? We’ll have a Slamin’ good time at the pool! Small fee for games & daily admission to the pool still applies. We will have games spread out on the outside lawn to keep social distancing for guests and our volunteers.

Family/Toy Nights
Here’s a chance for you to spend an evening of fun with your family. Children may bring in small rafts, toys and inner tubes on family night. We encourage children to be accompanied by a guardian or parent to gain entry into the pool.

Days: Saturdays & Sundays
Dates: June 5 - August 29
Time: 6:00 - 7:30pm
Location: Outdoor Pool
Fee: $3.00 admission or Season Pass
Toy rafts should not be more than 5 feet in length.

Water Exercise
Sponsored by:  Monroe Clinic/SSM Health
We are offering the following exercise class options:

  • Tuesdays & Thursdays, 5:00– 5:45pm, June 8 - August 26 with Certified Aqua Zumba® Instructor Connie Wyssbrod
  • Senior Water Exercise on Mondays & Wednesdays, Noon-12:45am, June 21 - July 28 with Instructor Bridget Cotter
  • Senior Water Exercise on Mondays & Wednesdays, 11:00-11:45am, August 2 - 25 with Instructor Bridget Cotter
  • There is no cost if you have a season pass or pay $3.00 admission fee at the pool. Please register with the Front Desk with your email and cell so we can contact you for cancellations
  • We will not make up classes cancelled due to inclement weather.


Gavin Breadon Memorial Swim Meet, Art Exhibit & Silent Auction
Saturday, June 19th - 7:30am - 12:30pm
Scholarships, Silent Auction, Swim Meet, Potluck & Swimtime.
Each family will have an area on the pool deck where they are asked to stay unless child is swimming.
Bid on beautiful hand blown art pieces by Eoin Breadon. All proceeds will go to the Gavin Breadon Memorial Scholarship Fund for MHS graduates. Artwork on display at Parks & Rec office 2 weeks prior, on Facebook & at the meet.

Swim Meets

  • Saturday, June 19, 8:00-10:00am - Gavin Breadon Memorial
  • Friday, June 25, 9:00am - Team A lifeguards will join MAST swimmers in the meet
  • Friday, July 9, 10:00am - Team B lifeguards will join MAST swimmers in the meet

We have contacted Belleville, New Glarus, Evansville & Platteville. They are interested in scheduling meets depending on COVID cases. If teams can’t attend, we will have fun meets.
