Special Needs Swimtime
LEO Fund, a component of the Community Foundation of Southern WI & Cliff & Dorothy Reasa Community Charitable Fund
A grant from the LEO Fund and Reasa Community Charitable Fund has allowed this class to be available at no cost for participants and provides the opportunity to have one-on-one swimtime! Participants with special needs must be able to handle their own personal care or have a caregiver with them. They need to stand in the pool by themselves, be continent and handle their own bathroom needs.
Age: Children and Adults with special needs (1st grade - Adults)
Dates: Mondays and Wednesdays, June 14 - July 21 (No class June 28 & 30)
Time: 5:15 - 5:50pm
Fee: No cost, but need to register
Mondays: Children have swimtime with swim instructors - No Cost
Wednesdays: Children have swimtime with playground staff - No Cost
Mondays: Adults have swimtime with playground staff - No Cost
Wednesdays: Adults have swimtime with swim instructors - No Cost
Parks & Recreation uses the following COVID-19 PROTOCOL:
We recommend that participants receive their COVID-19 vaccine in order to attend. We ask participants to wear facemasks, social distance and no hugging. If your child doesn’t understand these guidelines, we recommend they do not attend the program this year. Our staff will be wearing masks and taking necessary precautions to keep the participants safe.
