City Code 2-16-3: Duties:

The judiciary and ordinance review committee shall have the following duties:

(A) To act on behalf of the plan commission by submitting to the common council for approval, preliminary and final plats of subdivisions, acceptance of dedications and vacations for streets and alleys and annexations.

(B) To review and offer to the common council for approval, various legal agreements.

(C) To determine the necessity for an ordinance or amendment to a current ordinance, and if necessary, draft the ordinance or amendment for council approval.

(D) To work with the city attorney's office to continuously review, amend and update this code. (9-2-1980)
